Update: Missing 13-year-old Richmond boy has been found

A missing 13-year-old Richmond boy has been found, RCMP say. Quintin Sandy was reported missing on Wednesday, April 10. On Thursday, Richmond Mounties said he has since been located and is safe.

A missing 13-year-old Richmond boy has been found, RCMP say.

Quintin Sandy was reported missing on Wednesday, April 10. On Thursday, Richmond Mounties said he has since been located and is safe.

"The Richmond RCMP would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance," Cpl. Dennis Hwang said in a press release.

Richmond RCMP are asking for the public's help finding a missing 13-year-old boy.

Quintin Sandy was last seen in the 4000 block of Jacombs Road on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. He was reported missing on Wednesday, April 10.

He's described as Indigenous, five feet six inches tall with a slim build and brown eyes and short, dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing a pink hoodie, grey sweatpants and white Nike shoes. 

"Your caregivers and the police are concerned about your safety and well-being. Please contact us to let us know that you are safe," said Cpl. Dennis Hwang. 

Anyone with information about Quintin's whereabouts is asked to contact police.
