The two main political parties in B.C. are rolling their big guns into Richmond today for various pre-election events.

BC Liberal leader Andrew Wilkinson was due to appear in at London Drugs’ distribution centre at Horseshoe Place, where he will meet with Alexa Loo, Richmond-South Centre candidate, and current city councillor.

Wilkinson will also take part in an event with the candidate for Steveston, Matt Pitcairn.

Loo and Pitcairn are running in place of retiring incumbents Linda Reid and John Yap respectively.

The Liberal candidate for Richmond-North Centre, Teresa Wat, was scheduled to be giving out mooncakes to the Chinese community later in the day.

BC NDP leader John Horgan, meanwhile, is scheduled to address the media at Minoru Park, next to Richmond Hospital at 2 p.m.
