The new Richmond-Brighouse Bus Exchange partially opened on Monday, with a few buses moving in and out.

TransLink said the new loop – which will serve routes 406 (Brighouse Station/Steveston), 408 (Brighouse/Ironwood/Riverport), 402 (Two Road/Brighouse Station), 404 (Four Road/Brighouse Station), 414 (Richmond Oval/Brighouse Station) and the N10 (Downtown/Richmond NightBus) – won’t officially open for a few weeks.

The first two of the aforementioned routes started using the exchange on Monday.

This new bus exchange – directly south of the Brighouse Canada Line station - centralizes the stops of several routes, which used to be dotted around the congested, nearby area.
