After a two-year hiatus, the Steveston Dragon Boat Festival is finally returning.

The event is taking place at Steveston's Imperial Landing with 75 teams and about 2,000 paddlers facing off on the Fraser River on Aug. 20.

There will also be a festival marketplace, a Red Truck patio and children's activities.

Two special festival displays will be set up for people to explore including the One Hundred Years of Wisdom -- Debra Sparrow Musqueam Boat Display, as well as the Expo 86 original Teak dragon boat display.

The event will take place all day from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Imperial Landing Park.
