Jake Roder scored the go ahead goal with just 3: 33 remaining as the Richmond Sockeyes extended their win streak to six games Sunday with a 3-2 victory over the Grandview Steelers.
Jeremy Hamaguchi and Danton Heinen also scored for the Sockeyes, who improved to a PIJHL best 25-6-1-0 to open a three point lead over the Delta Ice Hawks for first place in the Tom Shaw Conference with a game in hand.
Richmond returns to action Thursday when the North Vancouver Wolf Pack visit Minoru Arena at 7: 30 p.m.
