Steveston-London Sharks Simran Sandhu (left) and Trixie Cadiaon put the stop sign up against St. Thomas More’s Emma Stewart-Barnett during action at the STM Chancellor Senior Girls Basketball Tournament. The Sharks would lose the game to the hosts and go on to finish eighth after falling to league rival McNair Marlins 62-38. Kirsten Abo led the Marlins with 22 points. Athena Chen paced the Sharks’ attack with 16. Steveston-London hosts its own Bob Carkner Classic next month.
