The Richmond All Blacks snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in RASA Spring League Second Division action last week.
First half tallies from Joao Barao and Marco Pegoraro seemingly had Bombastic F.C. in full control after 45 minutes. However, the All-Blacks came storming back with six unanswered goals for a stunning victory to leapfrog their rivals and into a tie for top spot in the league standings.
Morten Skriver led the stunning comeback with a natural hat trick. The scoring parade continued with goals from Jason O'Hara, Craig Tillotson and Henrik Lauridsen.
The All Blacks are now even with Metropolitan (6-2-0 records) after they dropped a 1-0 decision to Richmond F.C. The two sides square off on Tuesday night at Richmond High.
The RASA Spring League Division One table has changed significantly as the race for the championship has narrowed.
Defending champion Delta Blaze, who led the division by 4 clear points at one time, now find themselves just a single point ahead of Westside FC. Blaze after playing to a 1-1 draw against Binger’s Army. Bryce Connors scored for the Blaze and Vikrim Puri answered for Binger’s.
The Blaze (4-1-2) do enjoy a game in hand which has become more important for them to retain the championship.
