Richmond Roadrunners are back on track on the B.C. Intermediate "A" Lacrosse League with three straight wins, including a 14-8 home floor triumph over the Nanaimo Timbermen on Sunday at Minoru Arenas.
The Roadrunners hit some turbulence in their schedule last month, dropping consecutive games, including a 16-4 loss to the first place Port Coquitlam
Saints. Suddenly sitting with a 3-3 record, Richmond rebounded with a big 12-8 road victory over the Maple Ridge Burrards, before producing home romps over Burnaby (18-6) and Nanaimo.
The win against Maple Ridge, featured terrific goaltending from Graham Husick, especially in the third period when he held the hosts off the scoreboard while his teammates produced three unanswered goals.
Chandler Bradley paced the attack with seven points, including a pair of goals Jayden Campell scored four times and added one assist. Damon Prince notched a hat trick, while Nick Jensen, Chase Pretti-Pearsall and Patrick Szabo also scored.
Last Wednesday's tilt against the 1-9 Lakers was never in doubt as Campbell had another big night with 10 points, including four goals. Bradley had a hat trick and four assists, while Pearson Willis had a five point night with four goals. Szabo chipped in with a hat trick. Jensen added a pair, with singles to Fox Nahanee and Jason Roberts.
Patrick Ludemann was prominent in a playmaking role with five assists.
