The tournament is one of the largest in the province with 63 teams from across Alberta and B.C. scheduled to compete. In total, 1,100 athletes will be hitting the ice, ranging from U10 to Masters age groups.

The host association will also be well-rep-resented with teams in the U10, U12, U14, Open and Masters divisions.

There will also be a showcase game featuring Richmond battling the Kelowna Chiefs in Open Division action.

Some members of Richmond's Masters team have been involved with the organization as players for nearly 30 years.

Richmond Ringette also adds to its registration base by annually hosting Come Try Ringette sessions in March, for the following season.

The tournament will conclude Sunday with championship games at the Richmond Ice Centre. Joining Boston Pizza as major tournament sponsors are Sierra Waste, Imperial Paving, The Hotel at the River Rock and Watermania.
