Defensive standouts Dan McDermott and Quinton Bradley did their part to help the hosts reach the championship game where they dropped a 13-12 heartbreaker to Ontario.

B.C. had earlier steamrolled to wins over Manitoba (31-0), Alberta (29-4) and Team Atlantic (35-0). Ontario's perfect run also included a 15-12 round-robin win over B.C.

McDermott was named to the tournament all-star team, while Bradley managed to chip in with a goal.
