Perfect long weekend Richmond weather set the scene for the Queen Victoria Wood Bats Tournament at Blundell Park.
And the 15U AAA Richmond team successfully navigated through the quarter finals and semi-finals but, in the final, lost a well-matched game to the Chilliwack Cougars, 9-2.
The 15U AAA program is a high level competition, designed to prepare the ballplayers to qualify for higher levels of play (18U AAA or College Prep).
The first year-round 15U AAA baseball program in B.C. started in Richmond in the fall of 2004.
