One of the last Richmond Minor/Seafair hockey battles took place south of the border.
The two associations, which will merge next season, was well-represented at the 2018 Seattle Sno-King Junior Thunderbirds President’s Day Tournament.
Richmond Minor’s Bantam C2 team continued its outstanding season by taking top honours.
The run to the title includes wins over Seafair’s C3 and C1 teams in the semi-final and championship games. Both were 3-1 scores.
It was the C2s second tournament win of the season, having earlier captured the Richmond Marriot Winter Classic. They also enjoyed an impressive run in Penticton back in October.
