For the 16th year Mike Quinn is hosting his popular youth soccer summer camps in Richmond.
The successful local coach played professionally in England and has his "C" License Coaching Certificate - having guided a number of strong teams in Richmond over the last three decades.
This year's camp is being offered through the City of Richmond and is endorsed by both the Richmond Youth and Richmond Girls Soccer Associations.
Quinn promises participants an atmosphere of fun and sportsmanship.
The instructors will encourage participants in "soccer talk" discussing the rules of the game, field layouts and correct soccer terms. Instruction will include everything from proper warm-up to set plays.
The sessions, which will take place at Hugh Boyd, have been divided into three age groupings - 4-6, 7-8 and 11-12
The camps start the week of July 2 and continue through to the week of Aug. 19.
The cost is $66 for each camp and includes a t-shirt.
