The Greater Vancouver Canadians of the B.C. Major Midget Hockey League have announced Leland Mack will be returning for his fourth season as head coach.

Under Mack's guidance, the Canadians have been a force in each of his campaigns behind the bench. Greater Vancouver has seen its post-season run end each time by the four-time defending champions Vancouver Northwest Giants. This spring, the Canadians took the Giants to a third and deciding game in a best-of-three semi-final series before falling in overtime.

The BCMMHL was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15-to-17-year-olds the opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level for the purpose of development. The league consists of regional rep teams. The Canadians feature talent from the Arbutus Club, Vancouver Thunderbirds, Vancouver Minor, Seafair, Richmond, North Delta and South Delta hockey associations.

Evaluations for the 2012-13 season are scheduled for August 9-12. For more information on the tryouts and the league visit www.bcmmhl.net.
