Richmond Kigoos Summer Swim Club competed at the Fraser South Regional Championships and came out on top once again.
Their win saw the Kigoos beat out seven other Lower Mainland teams and are on their way to the 53rd Annual BCSSA Provincial Championships this weekend.
The Kigoos strong placing at the regionals was attributed to 56 of their swimmers qualifying in individual events and 38 in relay events.
A total of 94 Kigoos swimmers will compete in the Provincial Championships returning to the Lower Mainland this week. The Provincials will take place in Richmond at Watermania, where many aquatic events will take place between 55 teams from all over B.C. from Aug. 15 to 21.
