Richmond Kajaks athletes swept all before them at last week’s BC Summer Games.
Camryn Rogers won gold in both the girls' hammer and shot put, while Valerie Wideski finished in top spot in the girls' discus, was second in the shot put and third in the hammer.
Nathan Loewen grabbed silver on the track with a second in the boys' 300 metres and third in the 800. Georgia Lam claimed bronze in the girls' 300 and a fourth in the 10.
Loewen was also part of the Fraser River Delta Zone 4 girls' four-by-100-metre relay team's third-place finish, along with Catherine Ylo and Beyonce Robinson.
Merveilles Amisi took silver in the boys' triple jump and high jump, while Jamieson Lee finished seventh in the boys' high jump and long jump. Mya Rosser was 15th in the girls' 1200 metres.
While Seth Wong-Hen placed fifth in the boys' 100-metre, was sixth in the 200 and helped Egidio Cantarella finish fourth with the Zone 4 team in the four-by-100-metre relay. Cantarella also placed second in the 200, third in the 100 and was sixth in shot put.
