Intermediate Roadrunners make it three straight wins

The Roadrunners will take a perfect 3-0 record into tonight's home floor tilt against the Delta Islanders after making short work of two of their opponents, including last week's 13-3 win over Langley.

Richmond rode the terrific goaltending of Ryland Hood to the victory as he turned aside 45 shots. He even chipped in with two assists. His teammates made the most of their 47 shots directed at the Langley net, led by a five goal performance from Cody Nass.

Josh McLaughlin added a hat trick and Jordan Gillies notched a pair. Ryan Vogrig, Tyson Stoddart and Josh McLaughlin also scored.

Marcus Quon, Connor Davidson and Stoddart each had two assists.a

The physical affair saw over 160 minutes in penalties handed out, including 84 to Langley.

Earlier, the Roadrunners travelled to Nanaimo where they rolled to a 19-2 victory against the over matched hosts. Nass and Vogrig led the scoring parade with five goals each. Bromley netted a hat trick. Braeden Jensen and Wyatt Kinna had two each.

Game time tonight against Delta is 8 p.m.
