Wathna Warriors player Cody Robinson proposed at the CARHA tournament that's on-going Richmond ice rinks.

A northern B.C. hockey player got a win on the ice during a break from an international tournament - but it had nothing to do with a puck in the net, rather a ring on the finger of his girlfriend.

Teams from around the world have descended on the Oval and other ice rinks in Richmond to compete in the largest recreational hockey tournament in the world, CARHA.

Cody Robinson of the Wathna Warriors took the opportunity between games to surprise his girlfriend by getting down on one knee and proposing.

@wathlabekwes I did a thing after my second game, and gave my better half the cute proposal moment she wanted. She had 0 idea it was coming 😁😁😁 #proposal #lovestory ♬ What Love Is All About - Johnny Reid

The bended knee, the surprise of his "better half" - with vigorous head nodding - and the subsequent kiss were captured on TikTok.

CARHA tweeted out the TikTok saying "Game 2 for BC's Wathla Warriors won't be forgotten! Cody Robinson got the WIN with this on-ice proposal. Just like his new fiancee, we didn't see this one coming."
