Richmond Adult Soccer Association (RASA) treated fans to a captivating Soccer Sunday, with a slate of nine games on a sunny afternoon.

RFC Hibs’ tenacity in Division 1

In Division 1, RFC Hibs continued their impressive start to the season, securing a hard-fought 1-1 draw against the strong Richmond All Blacks. Brad Caldwell, the goal scorer for RFC Hibs, expressed mixed emotions, stating, “Despite the 1-1 draw, it felt like a loss after our 4-2 win against last year’s champions, Grads.” RFC Hibs remains a team to watch in the division.

Pacific Dragon’s first win shines

Division 1 witnessed Pacific Dragon’s first win, a thrilling 4-2 victory over Richlads, thanks to Adesola Adegbola’s remarkable hat trick. This performance solidified Pacific Dragon as a contender in the division, igniting excitement among fans.

Heatherbrae FC and United dominate Division 2

In Division 2, Heatherbrae FC maintained their perfect 2-0 record with a commanding 5-1 win against Jade Unicorn, fueled by Ryan Boland’s three assists.

United mirrored their success with a 2-0 win over Hammers, maintaining their winning streak. Both teams showcased impressive teamwork and individual brilliance.
