It proved to be a productive spring break for Travis Coutts.

The Grade 12 running back was the lone member of the Hugh Boyd Trojans invited to the 2013 Senior Bowl - which brought together the top graduating high school football players in the province for a week long camp and the annual Senior Bowl game.

Coutts was recognized for his outstanding week by receiving the Top Practice Effort Award among the camp's running backs. He was presented a special B.C. Lions rugby shirt by guest coaches and Lion players Travis Lulay, Dean Valli and Jabar Westerman.

The Lions also provided baseball caps to all the Senior Bowl players to recognize their hard work throughout the week.
