Connaught shines at SummerSkate

Richmond club brings home 16 medals from Skate B.C. competition in Burnaby

Connaught Skating's David Li (gold medal) and Neo Train (bronze medal) reached the podium in the Juvenile Men's competition at B.C. SummerSkate in Burnaby.
The Connaught Skating Club showed plenty of promise at the recent B.C. SummerSkate Super Series competition in Burnaby, producing 16 medals.
The results included:
Star 4
Cassandra Mak (silver medal), Kaya Zhou (silver medal), Janna Hadju (bronze medal).
Star 5 (U10)
Claire Lin (gold medal), Jaelyn Woo (bronze medal).
Juvenile Men
David Li (gold medal), Neo Train (bronze medal).
Juvenile Ladies U12
Ellie Cheung (gold), Ciara Iorio (silver).
Pre-Juvenile Men
Ethan Hayne (silver medal), Eason Zhu (bronze medal).
Pre-Juvenile Ladies U11
Anya Li (silver medal), Bianca Gasparetto (bronze medal).
Pre Novice Ladies
Maho Harada (silver medal).

Next up for Connaught skaters is the 2017 Autumn Leaves in Chilliwack. The Richmond club is also hosting auditions on Sept. 16 at Minoru Arenas' silver rink, starting at 10 a.m.
