March is shaping up to be a busy month for Richmond Devils captain Alex Yallouz.
As one of the top scorers in the South Coast Female Hockey League, she is a good bet to be playing in next month’s all-star at the Richmond Ice Centre. Her team also happens to be hosting the provincial championships, slated for March 26-29.
Now, Yallouz will be putting her gloves and stick down to showcase her speed in the Red Bull Crash Ice Finals. She outraced 19 other competitors to win the recent B.C. qualifier event at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
The national finals will take place the second week of March in Edmonton where Yallouz will race against 14 other qualifiers. Her winning time is the second fastest across the country.
The event will be televised so keep an eye out for Yallouz ripping down the track!
