The Burnett Breakers defeated the host Trojans in route to winning the boys division at last weekend’s Hugh Boyd Grade 8 Basketball Tournament. The Breakers capped their impressive tourney run with a win over the McRoberts Strikers in the championship game. Meanwhile, Boyd was victorious on the girls side as the Trojans slipped past McRoberts 44-40 in an overtime thriller. The two-day event also featured Metro teams from the Richmond Youth Basketball League.
