The defending Pacific International Junior Hockey League champions enter a new month with an 11-0 record that doesn't even reflect just how dominant they have been. The Sockeyes blasted Port Moody (10-2) and shutout North Delta (4-0) last week and their average margin of victory this season is a whopping six goals.

Richmond hosts the last place North Vancouver Wolf Pack on Thursday (7: 30 p.m.) at Minoru Arena then will put its win streak to test over a 72-hour period.

The locals visit the Abbotsford Pilots on Friday in a battle of conference leaders. The Pilots will take a 9-2 record into the showdown. Two nights later, the Delta Ice Hawks (9-2-1-1) come to Minoru for a rare Sunday evening (6: 15 p.m.) tilt. The Sockeyes defeated Delta 5-3 three weeks ago with an empty net goal.

Seafair grad Jeremy Hamaguchi led the way against Port Moody with a hat trick and one assist as Richmond pulled away with seven unanswered goals over the final two periods.

Rookie standout Justin Rai enjoyed a four point night, including a pair of goals. Jonah Imoo got the shutout in North Delta.
