Following a successful second season, the Richmond Youth Dance Company is holding auditions for its 2012/13 season.

Space is limited, so dancers ages 10 - 18 are being asked to sign up for an Aug. 28 audition as soon as possible.

The upcoming season will offer fresh performance opportunities and company dancers will have the opportunity to work with "dynamic, internationally-renowned guest artists in various styles of dance."

The City of Richmond created the Richmond Youth Dance Company through the Richmond Arts Centre in 2010.

The company's second season featured the sold-out production of Through the Clouds and performances at Richmond's UROC awards and Imaginary Enclave.

Auditions will take place Tuesday, Aug. 28 at the Richmond Cultural Centre, 7700 Minoru Gate, from 3: 30 to 7: 45 p.m. The program runs September through June.

To reserve an audition or assessment class spot, contact Jennifer Kita, arts leader at 604-247-8324 or email jkita2@richmond. ca between Aug. 20 and Aug. 22, inclusive.
