Romer's Fresh Kitchen and Bar has a new location at Vancouver International Airport.

Vancouver International Airport has a new burger joint to its food scene.

Romer's Fresh Kitchen and Bar held its official grand opening on Wednesday, Aug. 20 in the airport's U.S. departures terminal near Gate E75.

The restaurant was founded in Vancouver's Kitsilano neighbourhood in 2010 and initially only served burgers that were ground daily and hand pressed by chefs.

Since then, Romer's has expanded its West Coast-inspired menu to include soup and salad, pasta, avocado toast, eggs benedict, steak and seafood bowls alongside alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Its newly opened YVR location is open from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily and offers a variety of burgers such as sauteed portobello mushroom, applewood smoked bacon and B.C. steelhead as well as appetizers from chicken wings and fries to brussels sprouts and hummus dip.

Beer and wine will also be offered at the new outpost.
