To celebrate the Lunar New Year, we are featuring lovely dogs in Richmond throughout February. Today’s dog is Jack, a Jack Russell, Samantha’s life buddy. Let’s take a look at what Samantha had to say about him.
Owner’s note: I have lived in Richmond for 18 years, and 11 years ago I was introduced to Jack. When I saw an ad in the Richmond News for little puppies I stopped and read. I, for a long time, have been thinking of getting a puppy/dog and I knew I had to be ready for the daily and lifetime commitment.
When I visited the puppies at the family home in Maple Ridge, Jack stood out. He was quiet, gentle, and close to his mom. He was the runt of the litter and I loved him immediately and was committed to the long haul through all the life stages.
He is smart, funny, playful, protective, strong and at times complex with a mixture of personalities. Jack is the dog of my lifetime!
