World Festival is a two-day event in Minoru Park. It kicked off on Friday afternoon, and will continue all day Saturday.
Friday's headlliner is Bedouin Soundclash, and on Saturday, it will be The Strumbellas. But there will be dozens of other performances, food trucks, children's activities and cultural booths throughout Friday evening and Saturday.
The city is recommending festivalgoers walk, cycle or take the SkyTrain to Brighouse Station, a short walk away.
