An earlier vehicle incident on Highway 91 has since been cleared.
According to DriveBC, the vehicle incident had the left lane blocked between No. 8 and No. 7 roads in Richmond on Tuesday afternoon.
Westbound traffic was backed up to Westminster Highway.
Meanwhile, eastbound Highway 91 traffic was backed up to Jacombs Road and the Knight Street off-ramp.
Emergency crews were at the scene and motorists were asked to drive carefully.
