Trinity Western University to launch a new business program at Richmond campus

Trinity Western University’s (TWU) Richmond location will launch a new Executive MBA (EMBA) program next year with hopes to empower Richmond’s business community. 

Trinity Western University’s (TWU) Richmond location will launch a new Executive MBA (EMBA) program next year with hopes to empower Richmond’s business community. 

According to a media release, the program, designed for professionals, will be the only EMBA in Richmond. 

Dr. Chen Liu, director of MBA Programs, said the EMBA would be a good fit for Richmond and each EMBA course will be completed over two consecutive weekends combined with networking opportunities. 

Students are expected to have classes at TWU's Minoru location: 5900 Minoru Blvd. 

This year’s program, held at TWU’s Langley campus, has welcomed 15 students who are not only from diverse industries but also from different countries, including Canada, UK, South Africa, Sri Lanka and India. 

The average work experience of this year’s cohort is more than 12 years, ranging from financial services, banking to higher education, noted the media release.
