It's a messy, rainy commute for many who are heading back to work and school after the holidays this morning.
Traffic has slowed to a crawl northbound on the Alex Fraser after an earlier crash between a tandem dump truck and a pick-up on Westminster Highway, between the overpass on the Highway 91 connector and Fraserwood Way.

Commuters are currently backed up along Highway 91 to Nordell Way in Delta, and along Highway 91A into New Westminster.
Traffic isn't much better at the Massey Tunnel. Northbound traffic is backed up along Highway 99 past Highway 17 in Delta, while southbound traffic is backed up just past Steveston Highway.
