Three men face drug-trafficking charges in Richmond

Charges date back to 2019 and 2020.

Three men are facing various drug-trafficking and firearms charges dating back to 2019 and 2020 in Richmond.

Chun Yu Luk and Shuai Yuan are charged with bringing methamphetamine into Canada in August 2019 and attempting to export it in September of the same year.

Luk, Yuan and a third individual, Ya Chen, are also charged with possession of meth, cocaine, fentanyl, heroin and MDMA for the purpose of trafficking in June 2020.

Furthermore, all three are charged with possession of a loaded firearm and a taser without having a license.

While the charges were first dealt with at Richmond Provincial Court, the case has been moved up to the B.C. Supreme Court.
