Murder investigators have arrested a Richmond man accused of killing his mother last month.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) said Vancouver Police arrested Darwin Lescano, 38. He has now been charged with second-degree murder in the death of his mother, Redelma Belisario, 62.
Family members found Belisario’s body at a home on Woodhead Road, near Cambie and No. 5 roads, on May 19.
After the discovery, police issued an appeal for the public to help find Lescano.
