Richmond residents in multiple areas will experience power outages as BC Hydro has scheduled repair and replacement work on March 30 and April 1.
BC Hydro plans regular power outages to perform work on equipment or power lines that require them to be de-energized, according to the its website.
“By planning the outage and doing the necessary work, our crews can prevent a potential unplanned emergency outage in the future, where a part of the system unexpectedly fails or malfunctions,” says BC Hydro's website.
Here is the list of power outages scheduled for the upcoming week:
Mar. 30 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 342 customers at:
- 7291, 7293, 7295 and 7297 Moffatt Rd.
Apr. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 14 customers at:
- 10551, 10571, 10591, 10611, 10631, 10651, 10660, 10671, 10680, 10691, 10700, 10720, 10740 and 10760 Agassiz Crt.
