Richmond residents in multiple areas will experience power outages as BC Hydro has scheduled repair and replacement work from Mar. 8 to 15.
BC Hydro plans regular power outages to perform work on equipment or power lines that require them to be de-energized, according to the its website.
“By planning the outage and doing the necessary work, our crews can prevent a potential unplanned emergency outage in the future, where a part of the system unexpectedly fails or malfunctions,” said BC Hydro on its site.
Here is the list of power outages scheduled for the upcoming week:
Mar. 9 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 258 customers at:
- 11411 to 11980 Seabrook Crs.
- 10011 to 11291 No 5 Rd.
- 11411 to 11651 Seabay Rd.
- 11751 to 11851 Seacliff Rd.
- 10011 to 11011Seacote Rd.
- 11031 to 11560 Seafield Crs.
- 10720, 10731 and 10740 Seahaven Dr.
- 11391 to 11680 Seahurst Rd.
- 11760 to 11860 Sealord Rd.
- 10500 to 10980 Seamount Rd.
- 10631 and 10651 Seaway Rd.
- 11240 to 11740 Williams Rd.
Mar. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 10 customers at:
- 7180, 7200, 7260 and 7280 Ledway Rd.
Mar. 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Pole replacement will affect 65 customers at:
- 3411, 3451, 8111 to 8511 Fairbrook Cres.
- 8300 to 8591 Fairhurst Rd.
- 8060 to 8280 Fairlane Rd.
- 8420 to 8600 Fairway Rd.
- 8180 Seafair Rd.
- 3291 and 3311 Ullmore Ave.
Mar. 10 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 32 customers at:
- 3031 (Units 1 to10, 35 to 45 and 50 to 58) Williams Rd.
Mar. 11 from 9 a.m. to 8p.m.
Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 29 customers at:
- 3031 (Units 11 to 34 and 46 to 49) Williams Rd.
Mar. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Pole replacement will affect less than five customers at:
- 2011 No. 7 Rd.
- 15900 River Rd.
- No. 7 Rd and Cambie Rd.
Mar. 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Rescheduled from Feb. 21)
Pole replacement will affect 13 customers at:
- 7840, 7860, 7880, 7888 and 7900 Alderbridge Way
