While getting in and out of Richmond is a daily issue, drivers should expect delays this morning after a vehicle stalled on the Oak Street Bridge.
While the incident is now clear, traffic is backed up along Highway 99 past Westminster Highway. The car had stalled mid-span, in the northbound right lane of the bridge, and is blocking traffic. The incident happened around 7:30 a.m.
Traffic is currently backed up along Highway 99 through to Steveston Highway.
It’s also slow heading through the Massey Tunnel this morning after a crash — now cleared — northbound before the Highway 17A overpass. Volume is heavy along Highway 99 from near 72nd Street.
The Knight Street Bridge, northbound, isn't faring much better. Traffic is backed up along the onramp from Jacombs Road.
There's also heavy congestion on Russ Baker Way approaching the Arthur Laing Bridge.
