Richmond RCMP are asking for the public's help to identify a driver who may be involved in a suspicious incident on Tuesday morning.
A female youth was allegedly approached by a man in a vehicle in the 9400 block of Glenallan Drive at approximately 8 a.m. on May 14, according to Sgt. Vanessa Munn, BCRCMP spokesperson.
"The driver tried to verbally engage with the youth and offered her a ride," she explained.
The driver is described as a South Asian male in his mid-thirties and has a trimmed beard and buzz-cut hair. The vehicle, described as a silver two-door coupe, was last seen travelling eastbound on Bakerview Drive.
Anyone who was in the area and has dash camera footage or information should contact Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212 and quote file number 2024-15008.
