Richmond RCMP is investigating the theft of a number of Apple iMac computers and iPad tablets from local schools.
A search warrant linked to the thefts was executed at a Vancouver address after software installed on the devices helped track them down.
The Richmond School District said the theft will cost it thousands of dollars from its bottom line.
However, its hoped that improved security at the schools and the aforementioned tracking devices will help curtail future incidents.
