Looking for new ways to connect with your child? Richmond Public Library now offers Learning Together family literacy program at Ironwood and Cambie Libraries.

This eight-week program will run at Ironwood on Wednesdays from January 17 to March 7 and at Cambie on Thursdays from January 18 to March 8, 2018. Parents and children ages 3-5 will use the alphabet, numbers, stories and play to develop early literacy skills and a love of reading.

“Being an elementary school teacher for 15 years, I was very impressed with this program,” says Dr. Simmee Chung, parent of two children who have attended a previous program. “What a great way to build a sense of community, and share with our children – a love for all literacies and learning.”

Registration is required. Interested participants should check out Richmond Public Library event calendar, or call the library at 604-231-6412.
