Update: Richmond pedestrian discharged from hospital after being hit by vehicle

A Richmond pedestrian was sent to Richmond Hospital in “serious condition” after being hit by a car on Thursday morning. The male victim was struck by a car when crossing a marked crosswalk at Pendlebury Road at No. 1 Road around 10 a.m.

A Richmond pedestrian who was sent to Richmond Hospital in “serious condition” after being hit by a car on Nov. 19 has been discharged.

The male victim was struck by a car when crossing Pendlebury at the stop sign where Pendlebury intersects with No. 1 Road around 10 a.m., according to the Richmond RCMP.

 “Neither speed nor impairment are considered a factor,” said Cpl. Adriana Peralta, with the Richmond RCMP.

“The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.”

The Richmond RCMP is actively investigating the collision and is asking anyone with information regarding the collision to contact them at 604-278-1212 quoting file number 2020-31664.
