A 54-year-old Richmond man has been charged with two counts of first degree murder.
The charges follow the discovery on July 16 of the bodies of a man and woman in a home in the Westwood Plateau area of Coquitlam.
The female victim was a 56-year-old woman from Coquitlam. The man was an Israeli who arrived in Canada on July 14.
Charged is Maurio "Mo" Saheli who is alleged to have had a previous relationship with the female victim.
He was to make his first court appearance today (July 23).
