If you’re looking for a good book to read during the summer then this sidewalk book sale might be for you.

Friends of the Richmond Library is hosting its first sidewalk book sale on Saturday, June 19. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Richmond public libraries.

The weather-dependent event will be held outside Cambie Library, corner of Cambie and No. 5 roads, with many gently-used hardcover books for sale.

Children's and adult fiction, Chinese and even culinary books are among various genres of literature at the event.

Visitors are asked to bring their own bags or boxes as well as cash for payment.

Face mask coverings and physical distancing will be enforced due to COVID-19.

The sidewalk book sale is taking place at 150-11590 Cambie Rd. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
