A Richmond-based hockey team has been crowned provincial champions, after winning the play-offs in Langley last weekend.
The U15 AAA Greater Vancouver Canadians – who play out of the Richmond Oval - scored three third-period goals to defeat the Okanagan Rockets 4-2 in the final at the Canlan Ice Sports Langley Twin Rinks on Sunday.
The win capped a 6-1-0 record for the Canadians in the playoff championships, earning them their first ever BCEHL U15 AAA Championship.
