The City of Richmonds Heritage Commission is encouraging the public to submit nominations for the 2013 Richmond Heritage Awards by Monday, April 15.
The buildings, landscapes, artifacts, the people and their histories all of them are rich resources of Richmonds collective past.
The annual Richmond Heritage Awards recognize the special accomplishments of individuals and organizations who have contributed to preserving and promoting Richmonds heritage.
The nomination could be for an individual or an organization who has enriched Richmonds heritage resources in any way or contributed to those resources.
To nominate someone, submit a brief one-page summary describing the role of the nominee and the scope of their contribution.
All nominations must include the name, address and telephone number of the nominee, as well as the name, address and telephone number of the person nominating them.
