If you’re into golf and want to learn more about the sport, and enjoy a few treats at the same time, then an event in Richmond this weekend may interest you.

The Pacific Golf Academy is hosting an open house on Sunday, March 12 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at its facility on Hammersmith Way.

The academy, which has been running for 25 years, will have a host of golf games, of course and simulators for people to try.

They will also have Chinese medical doctor Jennifer Guo there to talk about general health and nutrition and sport therapy expert Amy Yiu with tips on how to stay energized and focused during games.

Other local businesses will also be showcasing their products, including Oh Pot and Marshmallow Pastry & Cake.

The academy will also be running a fundraiser to support the Gold Ribbon Society of Canada, by selling used golf clubs.
