An accident and oil spill caused traffic delays Monday morning in east Richmond, briefly shutting traffic in both directions.
The collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. involving a tandem dump truck, a pickup truck and a TransLink bus on Westminster Highway just west of the Westminster overpass.

According to several posts on Twitter, the accident involved an oil spill that caused westbound traffic at Westminster Highway and Fraserwood Place and the eastbound Westminster off-ramp from Highway 91 to be closed until 12:30 p.m.
