Fun fact about Richmond...
Do you know the oldest broadcasting transmitter station is located in Richmond?
A CJOR transmitter station, on Nelson Road just south of Westminster Highway, is a small, unassuming building that was built in 1941.
It has been in use ever since, which considers it the oldest broadcasting station in continuous operation in the Vancouver radio market, according to the Friends of the Richmond Archives.
