Fun fact about Richmond...
Do you know where the old Steveston Courthouse used to be?
The old courthouse was built on the site of an older courthouse and firehall in 1927, according to the Friends of the Richmond Archives.
Local court sessions were not only held there, but was also the headquarters of the local Red Cross organization during the Second World War.
After the war, the building became the Steveston Community Hall.
