Do you know what the purpose of the Iona Jetty is?
The approximately 4-kilometre recreational trail in Iona Beach Regional Park serves more than just a great place to get your steps in, but is also considered a critical infrastructure for the area.
It actually houses a large pipe that carries treated wastewater from the Iona Island Wastewater Treatment Plant into the Strait of Georgia.
