A Richmond boys hockey team brought home gold after competing in Los Angeles this summer.
The Richmond Rebels won the U12 Competitive Division championship title after competing in the California Dreamin' Summer Scorcher tournament from July 5 to 7 in Southern California.
California's tournament had more than 30 teams competing in eight divisions over the weekend.
The Rebels competed against seven other teams in their division and defeated Northern California's Bash Club 6-2 in the final game to claim the division title.
Player Bradley Pereira of the Richmond Rebels was named Most Valuable Player.
